Florida: History, People and Politics (IDS2194) is an internet-based, interdisciplinary, college-credit course designed to lead students, at their own pace of study, through five self-contained course units.

• A syllabus outline of goals and    objectives
• An overview of unit subject    content
• A list of study topics
• Suggested study procedures
• Specific unit assignments,    including reading, writing and    special project assignments
• Identification of a variety of    resource and reference    materials, including internet links,    enrichment readings and access    to a glossary of significant terms and concepts.
• On-line help and assistance from your instructor and technical    staff

Technical support and resources have been provided by the Florida Department of State, the Florida Center for Interactive Media, the Florida News Channel and the Florida Community College Distance Learning Consortium.
