"Welcome to Florida, where everyone is from somewhere else!"

The people of Florida are, and are becoming, more diverse than ever before. With regard to diversity, Florida has a higher percentage of minority populations than the national average. While the state’s Asian population is a bit lower than the rest of the country, Florida has a much higher black and Hispanic population than other states.
